Tim Ferriss

Tim Ferris made a business on writing a book called four hour work week, it is a way of making lots of money with not having to do much work at all. He goes around spreading the information of his book in blog camps in different placed around the world. He has made lots of money by teaching other people how to make lots of money. I personally didn't like his blog very much because i didn't get much out of it but obviously some people do or he would not be making any money, but his blog just doesn't really apply to my lifestyle right now.

Fighting back against shoppers guilt

Charity: people don't feel as guilty spending money because you feel like you are helping a cause when you put your money towards charity its not a selfish thing to do, it makes it feel like you are putting money towards the care and needs of other instead of yourself. So if you say for BMW that 5% of sales will go to a certain charity the buyer might not feel so guilty becuase they feel like they are giving back to society.

Internet: when you spend your money over the Internet you don't feel as bad because there is no one sitting there watching and judging you and you don't really ever have to watch your money be spent or have to swipe a card its all just you writing down you code. you don't get a receipt or swipe a card, or even put down cash so you don't feel like your really spending anything. So if BMW makes it so when you buy a car or car parts you could do it from your own home they would not have to have the people have to guilt of having to do it at the dealership.

Novelilty shopping: People dont feel as bad about buying things when ther are being soild for a limited time only, instead of buying things that could be there for a long time. So if BMW was to say that they were going to have a certain car for only a certain amount of time, people would not feel so bad about it because they would think that would be there only chance to get it, and if you make the car sound good enough people will think they need it, so they wont feel bad getting it.

Graffti removal business

In this eposide of Shark tank the sharks try to make the owner of the buesiness into a omployee and he was not prepaired to let that happen. They let offered him $250,000 for for 75% of his company which would not allow him to even be his own boss anymore, the sharks would take over his business and own his company, and he did not go there to lose his business so they could run it for him. which is understanable because no one goes onto the show to become an employee not a own. So i think the sharks should have rethought there offer towards the entrepreuneur so he could have a fair share to. The only problem with his company is that he does not havea patten on the chemical that he uses so if anyone finds out what the chemical that he uses is anyone could start up the same business as he is running right now so the sharks were a bit afriad to invest in it.

Souls calling, Shark Tank.

The Souls calling business is a very interesting business, becuase they lady seems to be more in it just for mkaing people in the world happy which not to many people are trying to do these days. There are not to many people that are willing to spend 100,000 of there own money to try and make the world happier and keep going with that goal even when at first she did not achievie her goal. But when she went in to talk to the sharks she asked for way to much money asking for $150,000 for 25% of her business, when her business was only worth around 18,000 dollers. So overall she screwed up because she asked for just way to much money for such a small business.

Jump forward Shark tank

The two guys that had opened the jump forward business have made lots of money off of there shark tank deal. they came in asking for onehundred and fifty thousand and they left with $600,000. They were not greedy they were just being smart and it worked out very well for them in the final result. because they got way more then they asked for, I think the first sharks were stupid for not trying to get in on that deal since that was already

Mr. Poncho / Uro Golf

The first people did not really think about they facts of there product its something that has pretty much already been done. And not to many people are going to spend 18 dollars on something just to wrap there head phones up in. Also they could not even see the see through the Mr. poncho casing so i think they need to rethink there product and try and reconstruct it to be better.

Uro Golf I think it is a very interesting idea i think it could be recontrusted to become better then it is so its not so reveling to the public but the way played it out and the deal he took i think what the right idea. He was not to greedy and he was no just going to take any offer. But the product alone is not something that to many people would think of making or using for golf. but it might actually be a huge success beucase I do golf from time to time and you do have some drinks will you play you do end up haveing to use the restroom and most golf course dont have a restroom on every single whole. so I think the Uro club is a good idea.

Shark Tank The Bobble Place

The person with the bobble head idea was already a successful business man. So I could see where he does not want to give up something that he has already earned on his own. But he should give them more then just the fact that he thinks that his idea is going to work. Becuase no one wants to just take 75,000 dollers and just set fire to it. But i think the sharks were also being a bit selfish as well trying to take control of the situation becuase they are smarter then him. But I think instead of no one winning they should have met in the middle with them getting some of the already going business and him getting some money for his up and coming business. Becuase the sharks saying that he should just not go into malls at all in just crushing the soil rise why he even went to go see them in the first place so they should have just met in the middle and both of them should have gave a bit of the already going business and also give him some money for the mall business.

Twitter

twitter is a great way of communication, people all over the world see what you write when ever you want. If people were trying to open a business they could just right on twitter that they were opening a business at a center place at a certain time and what they are selling. And everyone in the world could no if they wanted in a matter of seconds. It can be used for many other things to for people that want to find out sport states or for trying to get in touch with a friend. Twitter has many ups to the ideas that they use. The twitter inventor is "Evan Williams" he is a young man who invented twitter and feels very strongly about the impact that twitter is having on this earth. In one situation there was people who were trapped in a hotel and held hostage and were able off there cell phones to write on twitter what was happening and someone read it and they were saved. So twitter is not just for sports and getting in touch with friends it also has the ability to help save a persons life from just writing something on the Internet.

Creativity in schools

Creativity in schools is very important, most kids are deprivided of things that are interesting to them. People think that literecy is the only important thing for school but if only if people could see that other things are imortant to, like kids who enjoy talking or sports, and many other things. Lots of kids from school are afraid to be wrong, and you can not be creative without being wrong every once of and a while. Its almost that we have been taught to be afraid of being wrong in life. It does not matter where you go in the world all of the subject's in the world. And every where in the school everyone teaches math, english, and scince to be more important then drama, dance, and physical education, so why is that ? Now when people are very active people instead of trying to embrase this now people are just giving them pills and telling them to calm down, so people in life who are just born dancers who just cant sit down because they want to learn how to dance and love to dance people just assume it is things such as ADD, and that they need to be medicated. But in actually we should be enforcing these things not everyone is book smart some people learn by being active in life, not everyone is just book smart and in schooling we should really start reconizing on what there strengths are not what everyone else strengths are.

Wal-Mart

Sam Waltons was a very goal driven man who did what he wanted and he woud do it to the best of his knowledge. He was also very good at pretty well everything he was just one of those people that would just excel at everything he tried. He started opening stores at a young age and people would critise him for it and put him down trying to make him stop going through with his dream. But since he was a very persisten man he did not let that stop him in any way and kept moving along with his goals. He would also shot for the smallest price that he could find. He would go into places like sears and k-mart and look at there prices and then make what ever he had lower .

Which company would I choose?

Between the two companies i would go with the bobble heads because his business was already established and was going very well making about 6 figures a year. He was being a bit selfish but with the right deal making they probily could have got him to probily change his deal from being so selfish but no they tied to mess with him not meating him in the middle and no one one out of the deal. If they were smart they could have made a much better deal and things could have went much smoother.

Seth godin on sliced bread

Seth gordin believes that people who can spread an idea wins, like how people knew nothing about sliced bread and when it first came out the idea went no where but, wonder came along and learned how to spread the idea and they made a whole lot of money on there way of spreading the idea of sliced bread off a simple idea of like pre slicing bread. He also shows a web site about how there is a magazine that has 200 pages about water. Things that last are things that are remarkable, things that are about to re market and that are the things that will last. also making average things for the average people becasue there is more average people, but average people are not listening its the lower people that you need to try and sell to becuase they are listening they are looking for the deals and they want to be noticed. So in conclusion you have to be able to be on the fringe you have to be able to try something new, safe is risky. people notice things that are new, so do things that are remarketable.

Element Bars (Shark Tank)

In this episode this man is trying to get to much for something that may not be worth as much as he thinks that is like most of the people do, but he seems to be willing to deal with different sharks, The difference is that he making them answer the question he is making them make the offers to him indtead of falling into there traps to make him put out a lower number.

Also this man does not give up no matter what, becaue when the shark says he is out he does not say ok and quite he keeps trying to push them untill they change there mind about him. He goes right into the features and benefits of why the product instead of just complaining about why they have already said no. Another thing that he does not let them push him around he makes them meat him in the middle instead of him moving around to where he wants them to be. So that is a very good stratigie to play with instead of just doing what the guys there want you to do

Wi Spots (Shark Tank)

On This episode this man was giving away to much money for something that he did not talk to anyone who actually know what they were talking about for. He put his family at risk trying to make there lives better, but in doing that he could also destroy his family so he should always have a back up plan but he was not thinking about what if my business does not go through. So pretty much the lesson to learn from this man is to not waste all of your money leaving yourself with nothing unless you are for sure that 100% that you business will not fail, but since that can never happen no one should ever leave them selves with no back up plan or no saving of money to fall back on in case of failing in the business that you are trying to succeed in. Also he would have consulted with some kind of advisers to make sure that he knew what he what he was doing before he just jumped into something and if he did that that probably would have never happened

Mr.todd's Pies (Shark Tank)

In this episode this man came in wanting a lot more then he got, he had to understand his business was not worth as much as he thought it was. So he had to lower from giving only 10% of his company the the sharks, to giving 50% of his company to the sharks. Its a life lesson for everyone that sometimes your stuff is not worth what you think it is, and sometimes you have to lower your standards if you want to get what you want in life and business. The pie man also was told to give up some things like his mascaught which he was not willing to do either because the sharks thought that is coast to much. And one day he might actually have to do that but as of no he is holding on to that. So sometimes in your business you might have to be willing to give away some of your control to actually gain some control.

What I learned From Google

Google has showed me many different things in life. how they are a very succesful business that runs a fun but efficent company. Google has spread there company all over the world and has plans to try and get bigger by putting out different programs Google also at work does things for the company that makes it fun for everyone, the owner takes the whole company on a ski trip for the day, he does other things like he allows animals at work. and lots of other fun things to keep his emploies happy. Not only that I have also learned things from google just from doing google searchs my self, it has helped me with my school work, with finding out things about sports and just general questions I have in life. With out good search lots of people also would probily not find a lot of things on the web that they are looking for it is a great source to find different web sites of things that people are trying to find of the web.

Collage Hunks Hauling Junk

In making a business is key not to be greedy, to get something you have to give something in most cases. The men of hunks hauling junk were to selfish to think about what is going on around them and to think that they havent made all the money yet its just statistics that say they will. and they were expecting to get more moey then they should have wit out giving anything to the people that were willing to help them. So it is a good idea to not try ask for more then you deserve when trying to open a busines

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is a pretty amazing guy, he was only 20 years old he made facebook. It almost seems that it hasent even sunk in yet that he could be a billion air if he wanted to. It seem like he is a very humble laid back guy who does not think he is any better then his employies, he sits at the same kind of cubeical as his employies and does not make them be really early or anything. They have parties all the time and have lots of fun. One of the most amazing parts is that he started the company out of his dorm room in university. He also dropped out of university, while he was taking physicology. Mark Zuckerberg, as a young man has accomplished many things with his life, and it inspires me to think that if I want to i could also follow in his foot steps along doing something of that idea creating something that almost seems so simple in making something great, that could make me lots of money and very happy.

What I learned from Steve Jobs

Steven Jobs is a very insperational man he has done many things with his life coming from not very much. He invented apple, pixar and next. He over came thing's such as cnacer where he was first told that he not going to live for more then 3 months. Steve Jobs is just very inspirational becuase he keeps coming back from nothing. he droped out of University, he got fired from apple, but he did not let those things stop him he over came all odds to invent things like the computer, Ipods, animation pitures such as toy story, and nex. It is just very interesting that after all the great things in life that he has done he is a very humble man about what he has ecomplished with his life, and beleives in living every day just like it was his last, and if he wakes up to many days not feeling like he is doing that he decieds that he is going to make some changes in his life to make sure that his is not wasting his life, because there is no point in living life if your not going to live it to its fullest. He also beleives that people should live with there own goals not the goals of other becuase there is no point in living the life of someone else, do what you want to do with life.

What I learned from Richard Branson

Richard Branson is one of the most successful people in world, he owns many companies from virgin mobile, virgin air lines, and virgin drinks. What i have learned from his is that anyone who has a idea on changing the world can do it. If you want to make a air line that is not crowded and has great service then do that so people can be pleased on long flights. Or if you are sick of bad phone companies try and make one that makes you happy and will make other people in the world happy. Therefore just try and do something with your life that will benefit people in this world so they can have a better life.

However life is also about having a good time. Richard Branson has lots of fun doing lots of things people in this world don't have a chance to do, like bungee jumping, sky diving, and hot air balloon trips across the Atlantic. living your life to its fullest is a big part of life and we should all do it.

What I learned from Arnold

Arnold has inspired me to not give up on anything in life. People judged him on the way he talked and the way he looked and he preceded all the goals that he wanted to do in his life. From being a male model, an actor, and the Governor of California. Also when things like his voice held him back he would find ways to get around that obstacles. The challanges of coming from a foriegn country and not speaking our langauge did hold him back, so they would simulate his voice to fit the part he was saposed to play so he could act in all different sorts of movies. And when it came to weight lifting around was the youngest mr.Universe to win ever. He spent all of his time in the gym trying to get to his goal. This is why Arnold has inpired me to be the best that I can be at everything i do and not give up on me goals.

The bottom fell out tomorrow I would...

I'm going to buy a few lawn mower and a few weed wackers, and ask a few friends to help me in starting a business and by friends i mean c-ram aka (Cam Krajnyak) and we would go door to door asking if we could cut peoples lawns untill we get enough people calling for our work. then we would ask more people to help and get more clients and buy more equipment. we would also start buying trucks and other lawn care products.

We could also offer things such as:
Lawn care
Weeding
Painting
Pressure washing
Clean up
Gutter cleaing.

Once these thigns caught on I would start getting more and and more clients and maybe start opening up my options on different things i was able to do with my buisness and start making my company bigger covering more places and get mroe people involved.

Spirit Of Enterprise

The artical to me seemed very inspiring, about how making something out of nothing. And how to become a true success in business, needs hard work and to pursue in making sure that everyone knows about the product that you are selling. From the person who makes the product to the person who sells the product everyone has to be just as well informed about what they are selling in their business. That is why he Larry Farrell did so well in his business because everyone was on the same page and all were very well informed with what the product they were selling.
